The Cayman Islands Triathlon takes place on Sunday January 17th 2021.
The Cayman Islands Triathlon is one of the Cayman Islands’ premier annual sporting events that attracts a strong field of local and international competitors, as well as keen amateurs and spectators. Organised by the Cayman Islands Triathlon Association, the event is held at Public Beach, along Cayman's world-famous Seven Mile Beach.

Athletes have a choice of 2 race distances:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 12.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Olympic Distance: 1500m swim, 24.8 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
Individual, 2 or 3 person relay team entry options for the Olympic distance.
There are few better places in the world to host a triathlon than the Cayman Islands. Triathletes delight in our great weather, clear and warm waters, good roads for cycling and running and the multitude of activities that athletes and their families can enjoy during their post-race vacation. Hello Everyone! The 5k Walk & Wag is the second biggest annual fundraiser for the Cayman Islands Humane Society. Our main sponsor for this event is Cay 9 Resort and Spa.
Please register for this fun family event with your own dog or pick up a shelter dog (from 6am on the day, or the day prior). It is not mandatory to bring a dog, you can attend without a dog.
The 2021 Walk and Wag 5k will take place on Sunday February 7th.

Heart Warriors and Angels Beach Walk in memory of Baby Nolan – the inspiration of congenital heart disease awareness in the Cayman Islands.
Team Nolan, the Pediatric Program of the Cayman Heart Fund, is hosting their third Annual Heart Warriors and Angels Beach Walk during February 2021 Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) Awareness Week. This is the third annual Beach Walk in memory of Sean and Ailian Evans’ son, Nolan, who passed away on 25 January 2018 from a complex CHD.
The event takes place on Sunday 7 February at 7:00 am at Public Beach. Registration is CI$25 and includes an event t-shirt (while supplies last.) This family and pet friendly event aims to raise awareness for the #1 birth defect, CHD. Kids are encouraged to dress in warrior or angels costumes. Complementary refreshments including coffee will be available as well as face painting, raffle prizes, and much more.
This year’s beach walk is sponsored by Davenport Development, Doctors Hospital, Health City, Walkers, Fosters, Vistra, Baraud Development, and Logic just to name a few.

The Cayman Heart Fund is a non-profit organization incorporated under the Companies Law (2007 Revision) in 2007, with Registration License # 220594. Our aim is to alert, reduce, and help prevent Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) – the #1 cause of death in the Cayman Islands. We achieve this through education, training, and by providing medical equipment and services to the public. The Team Nolan Financial Assistance Program provides financial grants to families in Cayman, assisting them with expenses associated with urgent paediatric cardiology health care. Grants may be awarded in relation to everyday expenses such as utilities, food, and transportation costs.

The annual 345AC Tropical Relay challenge is back. Teams of 5 race a 1 mile circuit and hand a baton to the next leg runner. The baton carries a timing chip and will provide the time for each leg split.
The race starts at 6:30am from the Boxing Gym on Olympic Way.

Check In & Start Time: Check in will start at 6:30am on Saturday Morning in Camana Bay - We will have a check in area on the Paseo close to West Indies Wine Company (Noted on attached map). The run will commence at 7:00am sharp.
Ticket Collection: When you check in you will receive a ticket for each member of your group partaking in the event. You will need your ticket(s) for the prize draw at the end!
Payment: You can pay at the check in area via cash or cheque if not done prior, If you have indicated you are paying online via the school, please do so before the event starts and note in the payment comments Fun Run. As a reminder the cost is CI$20 for adults and CI$10 for students.
Refreshments: As Cayman Prep & High School has signed up to the 345 pledge,we discourage single use plastic. A water station will be available at the start/finish area where water coolers will be in place, please bring your refillable bottles with you. Snacks will be provided at the finish line.
Route: Check the event timeline here on CaymanActive for the route map. This will also be on display in and around the start area. The full 5k is a 3-loopcircuit, there is no obligation to complete all 3 loops, choose as many as you are comfortable with. Marshal's will be at key points on the course to direct you.
Pets: Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome at the event, please bring doggie poo bags and clean up as needed!
Buggies/Scooters etc: These are also welcome at the event, please exercise caution at road crossings and listen to marshal instructions.

CUC is taking to the streets again in West Bay on Saturday, March 6, 2021 for a fun run and walk as we raise money for the Sunrise Adult Training Centre and the Cayman Islands Athletic Association (CIAA). Everyone is welcome to join us.
Course: Starts and ends at Ristorante Pappagallo, Conch Point Road, West Bay. See event timeline for a map.

Note: There will be no registration on the day of the event.
Amenities: First 250 participants will receive a t-shirt (sizes are not guaranteed) and all participants will receive a participation medal and ‘power’ bag following the event. All funds raised support empowerment programmes for women and youth in the community: Through the support of the funds raised by the HWM campaign, FRC will be able to continue to support young parents and their families to remove barriers and support their success. The Young Parents Services programme supports the young mothers and fathers accessing clinical preventative and intervention services at FRC. The FRC Young Parents Services (YPS) supports parents between the age of 13 and 25 to develop parenting, life and employability skills. This particular population experiences several risk factors that are barriers for success, including poverty, unemployment, lack of transportation, childcare, health care & training opportunities.

For safety purposes, the event is limited to athletes on Road Bikes only. No triathlon bikes at this one but we have upcoming events, such as Time Trials, that you can use either.

Save the date for our 2021 Fred Speirs 5K Walk/Run fundraising event for the Fred Speirs Vocational Grant.
The grant was founded in memory of Rotarian and educator Fred Speirs who was an avid supporter of our youth and Rotaract Blue.
It is a scholarship given to students between 16-30 years of age who wish to pursue or are currently pursuing a technical/vocational programme locally or overseas.

Join us on our 20 Mile Bike Ride from the Blow Holes in East End to Smith Cove, South Sound!

Pledges of $150 or more will be entered to win a new bike!
On Sunday, 28 March, drop off your bike at Smith Cove between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. and we will transport it to the Blow Holes. You may then take our bus up to the Blow Holes in East End.
At 7:00 a.m. cycle back to the finish at Smith Cove at your own pace in the company of fellow riders and local celebrities.
