The Cayman Islands Triathlon takes place on Sunday January 17th 2021.


The Cayman Islands Triathlon is one of the Cayman Islands’ premier annual sporting events that attracts a strong field of local and international competitors, as well as keen amateurs and spectators. Organised by the Cayman Islands Triathlon Association, the event is held at Public Beach, along Cayman's world-famous Seven Mile Beach.

Athletes have a choice of 2 race distances:



  • Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 12.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run

  • Olympic Distance: 1500m swim, 24.8 mile bike, 6.2 mile run


Individual, 2 or 3 person relay team entry options for the Olympic distance.


There are few better places in the world to host a triathlon than the Cayman Islands. Triathletes delight in our great weather, clear and warm waters, good roads for cycling and running and the multitude of activities that athletes and their families can enjoy during their post-race vacation. 800m Entry Fees:

Cut off time is 40 minutes after the start of the race.

Based on weather conditions, the event may be cancelled at the discretion of the race director.

Hello Everyone! The 5k Walk & Wag is the second biggest annual fundraiser for the Cayman Islands Humane Society. Our main sponsor for this event is Cay 9 Resort and Spa.

Please register for this fun family event with your own dog or pick up a shelter dog (from 6am on the day, or the day prior). It is not mandatory to bring a dog, you can attend without a dog.

The 2021 Walk and Wag 5k will take place on Sunday February 7th.

  • CI$25 Entry Fee.
  • Free T-Shirt for the first 200 registrants.
  • 7am start at Safehaven.

We have 4 prizes for the fastest man and woman with dog and man and woman without a dog. Everybody crossing the finish line will receive a raffle ticket. We have lots of great prizes to win.

Heart Warriors and Angels Beach Walk in memory of Baby Nolan – the inspiration of congenital heart disease awareness in the Cayman Islands.


Team Nolan, the Pediatric Program of the Cayman Heart Fund, is hosting their third Annual Heart Warriors and Angels Beach Walk during February 2021 Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) Awareness Week. This is the third annual Beach Walk in memory of Sean and Ailian Evans’ son, Nolan, who passed away on 25 January 2018 from a complex CHD.


The event takes place on Sunday 7 February at 7:00 am at Public Beach. Registration is CI$25 and includes an event t-shirt (while supplies last.) This family and pet friendly event aims to raise awareness for the #1 birth defect, CHD. Kids are encouraged to dress in warrior or angels costumes. Complementary refreshments including coffee will be available as well as face painting, raffle prizes, and much more.


This year’s beach walk is sponsored by Davenport Development, Doctors Hospital, Health City, Walkers, Fosters, Vistra, Baraud Development, and Logic just to name a few.

The Cayman Heart Fund is a non-profit organization incorporated under the Companies Law (2007 Revision) in 2007, with Registration License # 220594. Our aim is to alert, reduce, and help prevent Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) – the #1 cause of death in the Cayman Islands. We achieve this through education, training, and by providing medical equipment and services to the public. The Team Nolan Financial Assistance Program provides financial grants to families in Cayman, assisting them with expenses associated with urgent paediatric cardiology health care. Grants may be awarded in relation to everyday expenses such as utilities, food, and transportation costs.

The annual 345AC Tropical Relay challenge is back. Teams of 5 race a 1 mile circuit and hand a baton to the next leg runner. The baton carries a timing chip and will provide the time for each leg split.

The race starts at 6:30am from the Boxing Gym on Olympic Way.

$50 entry fee

Prizes for All female teams, Corporate Teams and Open Div (all other teams)

The Cayman Prep & High School PTA are holding their 2nd annual family friendly fun 5K walk / run at Camana Bay on Saturday 27th February. Starting at 7am.

Check In & Start Time: Check in will start at 6:30am on Saturday Morning in Camana Bay - We will have a check in area on the Paseo close to West Indies Wine Company (Noted on attached map). The run will commence at 7:00am sharp.

Ticket Collection: When you check in you will receive a ticket for each member of your group partaking in the event. You will need your ticket(s) for the prize draw at the end!

Payment: You can pay at the check in area via cash or cheque if not done prior, If you have indicated you are paying online via the school, please do so before the event starts and note in the payment comments Fun Run. As a reminder the cost is CI$20 for adults and CI$10 for students.

Refreshments: As Cayman Prep & High School has signed up to the 345 pledge,we discourage single use plastic. A water station will be available at the start/finish area where water coolers will be in place, please bring your refillable bottles with you. Snacks will be provided at the finish line.

Route: Check the event timeline here on CaymanActive for the route map. This will also be on display in and around the start area. The full 5k is a 3-loop​circuit, there is no obligation to complete all 3 loops, choose as many as you are comfortable with. Marshal's will be at key points on the course to direct you.

Pets: Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome at the event, please bring doggie poo bags and clean up as needed!

Buggies/Scooters etc: These are also welcome at the event, please exercise caution at road crossings and listen to marshal instructions.

‘De Road is Callin’ 5K Walk/Run will be held on Sunday February 28th, 2021:

  • CI$15 Registration Fee
  • Registrations (online - link coming later today) close on Saturday February 27th at 11:59pm and will not be available on the morning of the event.
  • Start time is 7:00am from The Crescent at Camana Bay.

We will have prizes for best Carnival Costume (male / female / junior), most Spirit on the Road, and best Costumed couple. We have many great prizes to win.

The 2021 HWM Colour Me Purple 5k Walk / Run takes place on Sunday 14th March.

  • Venue: Safe Haven - start and finish by the Holiday Inn.
  • Start Time: 6:30am for both walkers and runners.
  • Prizes for first 3 male and female finishers.
  • Raffle entry and light refreshments for all.
  • $25 registration includes shirt (for the first 200 paid registrants), raffle prizes and light refreshments.

There will be colour bombing, breakfast and medals for runners, as well as raffle prizes.

All funds raised support empowerment programmes for women and youth in the community: Through the support of the funds raised by the HWM campaign, FRC will be able to continue to support young parents and their families to remove barriers and support their success. The Young Parents Services programme supports the young mothers and fathers accessing clinical preventative and intervention services at FRC. The FRC Young Parents Services (YPS) supports parents between the age of 13 and 25 to develop parenting, life and employability skills. This particular population experiences several risk factors that are barriers for success, including poverty, unemployment, lack of transportation, childcare, health care & training opportunities.

Save the date - March 14th for the first event of the year.

Join us at the upcoming Cost-U-Less Circuit Race.

The event consist of 45 minutes of continues circuit racing. Once you have completed the 45 minutes, their is just 3 laps of the course to the finish.

For safety purposes, the event is limited to athletes on Road Bikes only. No triathlon bikes at this one but we have upcoming events, such as Time Trials, that you can use either.

Registration is $35

Save the date for our 2021 Fred Speirs 5K Walk/Run fundraising event for the Fred Speirs Vocational Grant.


The grant was founded in memory of Rotarian and educator Fred Speirs who was an avid supporter of our youth and Rotaract Blue.


It is a scholarship given to students between 16-30 years of age who wish to pursue or are currently pursuing a technical/vocational programme locally or overseas.

NEW date: Rescheduled to Sunday March 28th (originally planned for March 7th).

It's the 39th Annual KiwaniBike cycle event by the Kiwanis Club.

Join us on our 20 Mile Bike Ride from the Blow Holes in East End to Smith Cove, South Sound!

Collect sponsorship and help raise much needed funds

Pledges of $25 or more receive refreshments and entry into a prize draw
Pledges of $150 or more will be entered to win a new bike!

On Sunday, 28 March, drop off your bike at Smith Cove between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. and we will transport it to the Blow Holes. You may then take our bus up to the Blow Holes in East End.

At 7:00 a.m. cycle back to the finish at Smith Cove at your own pace in the company of fellow riders and local celebrities.

Do you spin? Why not pledge $25 and collect sponsorship to complete a 20 mile bike ride at home and also be entered in our prize draw! Contact details below to sign up.

Funds raised go towards the Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman's Buy a Kid Breakfast Programme, Circle K, Builders and Key Clubs ‐ creating young leaders in our local schools.

Come and join us at the 11th annual 'Light Up the Night' Breast Cancer Beach Walk. The enchanting Light Up the Night event will now take place on Saturday April 24th 2021 by the light of the moon!


The route will be Seven Mile Public Beach to the Ritz-Carlton - for a drink and a cookie - and then return back to public beach.


As those who have been on this walk before will know, it is a truly magical event, we stroll down Seven Mile Beach, stop for a cold drink and a snack, then we walk back. Bring the whole family, dogs included!


The cost to enter will be CI$25 as usual which includes a shirt and raffle entry. Registration and shirts will be available from our office in Grand Harbour. On the night registration will be possible from 6pm - and we start walking at 7pm.
